Foster Hope was founded by Stephan and Joy, whose personal journey of love, loss, and adoption inspired them to create an organization that supports foster families and children in need.
With eight adopted children of their own, they have a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of foster care. This drives their passion to help other families navigate this path with the resources and support they need.
We believe that every child deserves a safe, loving environment where they can thrive. Our programs are designed to address the unique needs of foster children, from trauma-informed training for parents to life-changing camp experiences.

We Build
At Foster Hope, we tirelessly seek out to build relationship with Departments of Human Services from the different counties in North Carolina. Our mission is to become a reliable and dependable resource to positively impact the foster care community.
We Educate
Education is at the heart of our work. We offer comprehensive training programs for foster parents and child welfare professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to provide trauma-informed care and support to foster children.
We Provide Care
Compassionate care is essential for the well-being of foster children. We provide resources, counseling, and support services to ensure that every child in our program feels safe, valued, and cared for throughout their journey.
We Camp
Our camps offer a sanctuary for foster children to play, learn, and heal. Through fun activities, skill-building exercises, and therapeutic support, we create a space where children can simply be kids and build positive memories.
